Brow Lift

A forehead lift or brow lift is a procedure that restores a more youthful, refreshed look to the area above the eyes. The procedure corrects drooping brows and improves the horizontal lines and furrows that can make a person appear angry, sad or tired.

Dr. Godat will evaluate your brow in conjunction with your eyelids. He may use either a hairline or coronal approach depending on the aesthetics of your face. The scars are well hidden in the scalp or hairline and are virtually invisible. The recovery time is one week depending on the patient's own healing capacity. Almost all of the bruising and swelling is resolved in most patients in the first week, however six weeks or more are required in most patients for the final result.

Dr. Godat may recommend eyelid surgery in conjunction with the brow lift. These procedures may also be done with a facelift and necklift.
