Cheek and Chin Implants

Cheek implants give the face a more striking and attractive appearance by adding prominence to your cheek bones. A small implant sized to fit your specific cheek is inserted just under the skin. Similarly a chin implant will give the face a more beautiful profile by balancing a recessed chin with the nose and cheeks.

Cheek and chin implants may be placed through an incision in the mouth and therefore leave no visible scar. This procedure is performed o an outpatient basis under sedation or general anesthesia. Anesthesia is done by an MD anesthesiologist. A registered nurse monitors you until you are ready to return home.

Cheek and Chin Implant Recovery

Most bruising and swelling in most patients is resolved in one week. Most patients can return to work in the first week. Complete resolution and final results usually are not apparent for six weeks.
